Grown Ups (2010)

Wahhahahahahaha!!! Grown Ups, a bunch of small kids, who tend to be the coach only basketball champion, and later grown up, and bring laughter to us. American comedy is something worth to watch. It's not boring, it doesn't duplicate context of other movies, pure genuine.

From the start till the end, I laugh like I never laugh before. The 5 main characters, who are famous comedian in the past, cooperate and film this movie. Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider. But too bad, scene of Chris Rock seems to be lesser than others, and less funnier.

What will you see in the movie, no matter how angry, how sad, how stupid, you will laugh. Beware, you will see two hot chicks in the movie that will make your nose bleeding. LOL. There are much more thing for you to discover, so go watch it~~

I discover some hidden message in this movie. It's for all the people who had been busy with their work, and ignore every single small details, small interesting matters, and lead to a change in your life, your family's live. This movie is suitable to all age, but I think it's dedicated to those people who work hard, and lost their direction in their life. Snake and ladders are one of our small kids games, but ask yourself, are the kids playing it now? Or playing violent, bloody, gore video games on PS3 with a HDMI cable attached to it? Money is important, but there're many things that are more important than money. Family especially, don't ignore your family, due to earn money. I think I experience it before. It's awful, and pathetic.


Rating : 9/10.

Saisaki Japanese Restaurant

As mentioned in the title above, we went to this restaurant to have our dinner. It features Japanese Buffet, subbed from Shogun. The environment was nice and relaxing, however the food placement is not really good. There doesn't have a fixed section about what food to place. Sushi can be found anywhere, the sashimi was on top of the counter, which we thought it is a decoration. It's weird that Thai food was found in this so called Japanese-Restaurant -- Curry, Tomyam.....

The price was barely acceptable, but I doubt the quality of the food. Some are left to cold, not much heating up, Agemono ( deep-fried ) dishes should be crispy but it's not, the food was served chill, Oysters seem not fresh, the barbecued beef is hard to be chewed, and so on. For me, I wouldn't recommend you all to try out, it's better to eat at Zanmai Sushi ( my all-time favourite Japanese cuisine). No offence, just my opinion.

Below are some shots taken over there.


Escargot, Fried baby eel, barbecued beef, cheese baked oyster, spicy lala?, fried squid ring, and so on. All of them, are barely heated. Don't judge a food by its appearance.




The so-called famous Beijing or Peking Duck. I have no comments because I seldom eat duck.



Buffet must have. Ice Cream! Green Tea that have weird taste, Mat Kool, Vanilla with Mix Berry.




Cha Soba ( Green Tea Cold Noodles).



Yee Hoong, is drinking, Tong Sui, which he requested to add more water, to unsweetened it.




Rm9x++ 1.8L Sake. Compare it with a standard size phone. You can imagine how tall and big the bottle is.










Not-so-fresh Oysters bar.




Interesting Dessert.Pumpkin Custard? I never eat it.



Cawan Mushi? Steamed egg? I dislike it.




Lastly, this took me 30 mins to finish it.




Price for 10 pax. Certainly more worth if dine in other place. Once in a lifetime is enough for me. So, Saisaki should not be in my list in the future.

Dogathon

I was invited by Chris to Dogathon held at UPM today. UPM is super big and I sesak in it. It's not just a university, It's actually like a small town.

Today's weather was considered good, shady. It was a brand new experience for me. Pets photography. Pets are same like humans, they are shy, they avoid cameras, they do have emotions.

I was really grateful to have someone lending me her precious camera. It helps me to improve my skills. Without her, I will spend another meaningless weekend in my house.

I had taken 600+ photos, but only 200 was safe from being moved to recycle bin. Out of 200, I think 10% only consider nice. My skills are still very noob, and I wish to improve it.

There's one shot, I loved the most. Colours were there, focus on the right spot ( the eye), lighting was correct, timing ngam ngam, and everything is just perfect for me. Here, I present, Husky.

-Crowded, super.
-My portrait skill sucks.

-Want to improve it, however, life will be busier with assignments.
-Looks despair when everyone has a DSLR, which it means a lot to me. For me, they are buying DSLR due to trend, course requirement, but not the passion. Everyone can take photos, but what intention is they used it for. Rich owned DSLR, but DSLR owned poor.

Road to success,

is never easy. You must pass every obstacle, easy or hard, to achieve success. There's no short cut in life. If you choose to take shortcut, the one who rugi is yourself.

I'm experiencing the diploma life. It's not as easy as I thought, or it's above my expectation. However, life is about learning, it's a new stage for me to be a more discipline guy, independent guy.

Assignments fill my life. It's not easy, and I'm ready for me. To diploma mates out there, assignments are not about last minute, and pass up. It's all about the process. Ask yourself, why are you doing assignments? If your answer is to pass up, then you better go out work instead of wasting time there. During the process, you will learn a lot, but there's only one criteria, commitment. Everything in your life, you must have commitment.

Life is never easy, but you can make your life easier.

SALT(2010)

Salt, refers to Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie). I would not say this film bad, but it's about boring for me. She may look hot and sexy to you all, but for me, she has square face and looks weird. I can't really relate her with sexy and hot. This film is about spy, which is quite a hot topic now, Russia spy at US. She was a good actress, but the storyboard seems boring to me. The ending was poor, either it indicates there will be SALT 2, or it just end like that. The movie is short, few action scenes, run there run here, kill there kill here. Visual doesn't impress me, action doesn't impress me. It just a so-so movie (in my opinion).

I would recommend you to watch it at home, but not in cinema.

Rating : 5/10.

Inception (2010)

There's only one word to describe inception, MIND BLOWING!

People who already watched this movie will certainly think a lot after the movie. I'm not exceptional. I wonder, are we living in dreams? People are projectile that we created our own self. I'm just worried that, someone will commit suicide. Inception is about planting a seed of idea inside a person's mind. This movie has done a good job in inception. Just for example, after watching this movie. I doubt that my current life is real or just a dream, killing myself will make me wake from the dream, just like Mal did. Lol. Leonardo Dicaprio is a wonderful actor, and no doubt that Christopher Nolan is a brillant director.

The ending is determined by the audience themselves. This certainly will create discussion or argument between them. The director has successfully plant this movie into our mind. I'm sure I will watch it again one day.

Rating : It's truly a never see before movie. It's well done. It's influencing. Movie of the Year, so far for me.

1、短信听不到语气，电话看不到表情。
其实我没生气，你当真了；我在笑呢，你看不到吧；我哭了呢，抱着手机哭倦了睡过又醒了，你在忙吗？



2、共同语言
如果两个人在一起，两个人的交往圈会融为共同的圈子，话题永远都在更新。
而不在一起的两个人，对彼此身边的环境都会因陌生而逐渐失去兴趣，慢慢的，能说的话只有空洞的‘我想你’。
我在努力找话题呢，不要回信说‘哦、嗯、好’了好吗？



3、不安全感
看了10次手机了，你还是没有回信。你在哪、和谁、在干什么？ 刚刚拒绝了别人的好意，却禁不住想，你身边的莺莺燕燕，一如我身边的花花草草吗？



4、远水不救近火
我这里下雨了，来送伞的是同学的弟弟；我吃饭忘带钱了，来解围的是朋友的朋友。
原来你不吭声是因为你生病了，可我再担忧，也不能在你身边端一杯水…



5、距离产生幻觉
其实我有些小虚荣，照片有时候修掉了眼袋才给你看；其实你有些小自负，认定了的事情就以为自己一定对。
为了大老远的爱你，我拒绝接受身边一切说你不好的言论，什么都往好的方向想。你也是吧？
其实我们都不是对方想象的那样好……



6、距离产生误会
我兴冲冲地发短信给你讲刚刚的趣事，你隔了半天说‘噢’，我不知道你在忙的嘛，所以我生闷气了。
你给我发了八条短信两个电话我也没回，愤怒得嗷嗷直叫，我在做上课呢，手机调振动了的嘛。其实我们都知道对方不是故意的，但情绪来了，总需要宣泄的。



7、善意的谎言
我碰巧和相熟的男生去看电影了，想了想，对你说和女生去的。
你独自去了我们约好要一起去的地方，犹豫再三，对我说你哪都没去。
不愿让对方多想，却因为偶尔的疏忽，让对方想得更多。



8、寂寞
一个人不寂寞，想念一个人才寂寞。
你说，来，抱抱。于是我把自己裹在被窝里，闭上眼，恩，抱抱。
一个人站在夜空下时，你会抬头看月亮吗？



9、信念坍塌
我看到身边一对一对的，男生帮女生打开水送饭，在宿舍楼下卿卿我我，周末还能一起爬山，没忍住就对在地图对角线上的你发牢骚，其实是想听你的鼓励，想听听你的安慰，你的一个电话就能让我安心。
可也许刚刚好你接到朋友异地恋分手倾诉的电话，那么容易就把自己带入了戏，无心的抱怨雪上加霜。
有时候折腾一下，只为了证明自己的重要性。哪知脆弱基础上的高楼只须多压上一根头发的重量，也许就崩溃了。



10、你的真心
人心隔肚皮，更何况我们还隔着千山万水。 男生永远无法理解女生为什么需要浓浓的表达爱意，正如我永远不知道你为何可以那样轻轻的表明心意。

当我完全了解以上所有困难，依然下定决心明知不可为而为之的时候， 却不知上一刻还信誓旦旦的你，会不会什么时候突然铁了心要放弃呢？
也许只是终于亲身经历，我们才觉悟了，异地真的不是一张火车票可以解决的事情。但是，亲爱的，我们其实是如此在乎彼此，我们即使有什么不能认同的事情，但我们依然在一起，并且即将共同面对。




这时的我，叹气了。

Saito College.

Okay, this college is quite not famous. Mostly all of you had not heard of this college. It might not be the best college, but it's the college I like. It has been 2 days I started my college life. Orientation day was never boring when you enjoy it, not complain it. Everything you will feel boring if you didn't enjoy the process. The people over there was friendly, multi-race students there, where Malays was quite alot, makes me feel strange. However, after going through the orientation activities in group, I starting to feel relieved. Malays are not that bad as we thought, they might be noisy, but they might be friendly. There's a Malay girl in my group, who was super active and makes us laugh all the time. Racist, isn't a good thing at all. Haha.

Tomorrow is the days where lecturers conduct their first briefing class. We will be divided into classes according to the courses taken. It will be the time where I will meet all my future classmate, though I met few of them today. I feel that, my college life will be exciting as long as I enjoy it.

Talk about traffic. The traffic isn't that bad as what people describe. Maybe I'm lucky, or I went at the correct time. It takes me 15 mins to reach there, and takes me 10 mins to reach home. 7.15am and 5.00pm respectively. I will continue to do experiment in these coming weeks. Total distance less than 20km, which is 1/3 of KTAR distance. When I knew it, I'm just darn happy. ~~

Classes commencing next week, and I'm anticipating it.

Despicable Me (2010)

Named as the Minion.

The minions are a group of yellow bean organism, that will light themselves up by shaking them, speaks using their own alien language which only can be understood by Dr Gru, play with kids, buy toys, pretend as ladies, men and toddlers, use weapons, obeying orders and many more. There's only one word to describe them, adorable.





This movie was called "Despicable Me". I'm not sure what does it mean, maybe it's referring to himself as a pitiful person, or kesian nya saya~. It was produced by Illumination Entertainment, which I had never heard before. At first, I thought it will be a boring journey to watch it. I guess it right. The first half was ordinary, and quite not interesting. Well, when it came to second half, things becoming more interesting. A huge super bad villain, becoming a huge super good dad. The plot was simple and easy to understand. You know what is happening throughout the movie. It's humorous as well. See it yourself and experience it yourself. Animations are suitable for all ages, not just restricted to kids. People wouldn't laugh at you, and thinks you are immature.

Rating: 7/10.

*To be honest, HK movies' quality are declining. They attract no interest of mine. Ideas were used repetitively, genre was almost the same all the time (gangsters, comedy, action). I'm bored of watching HK movies. 无间道 (Infernal Affairs) was one of the best movie I had ever seen. When will these kind of quality arise again?

Wake up Phobia.

These few days, i always waking up in the middle of the night.
Most probably 4am.
Is there anyone who "kacau" me sleep? Or are they boring and want to find someone to play with?

I just want a good sleep.
Today I can sleep until 10am or 11am,
but i woke up at 8am.
WTF!
